GenesisCare's Chelmsford centre in Essex uses advanced radiotherapy techniques to deliver external beam radiotherapy. All of our patients receive intensity modulated (IMRT) which is delivered using Volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and image guided (IGRT) radiotherapy daily, to treat a wide range of cancers.
As well as other World-class technologies, we offer deep inspiration breath-hold (DIBH) radiotherapy for patients with breast cancer and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) which is usually used to treat small primary cancers and metastases.
By working together, we can provide private cancer treatment to patients across the Essex and Kent region, including Braintree, Colchester, Basildon, Dartford, Harlow, Ipswich, Brentwood and Southend-on-Sea, and beyond.
As well as advanced cancer treatments, patients at the centre benefit from dedicated, free parking spaces, a free, door-to-door car service, free Wi-Fi access and timely, flexible appointments.
Springfield Cancer Centre works in close partnership with the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. The charity can provide complimentary services to support our patients and their family before during and after their treatment with us.
