GenesisCare's Southampton centre uses advanced techniques to deliver external beam radiotherapy, including SABR, Intensity modulated (IMRT) , Image guided (IGRT) and Breath-hold (DIBH) radiotherapy, to treat a wide range of cancers from bladder, bowel and breast cancer to, prostate, pancreas cancer and palliative treatment plus many more.
You will assist with radiotherapy equipment quality assurance in your centres and will have a suite of the latest hardware & software tools available to you. As part of the wider GenesisCare physics team you will have the opportunity to participate in company-wide projects, and there will be ample opportunity for role extension and professional development.
Previous experience in Linac QA is desirable. Suitable candidates will have an HNC/HND or degree in Physical Sciences and possess or be eligible for membership of the Voluntary Register of Clinical Technologists.
This position provides physics support to our radiotherapy centres in Southampton and Portsmouth. Teamwork, flexibility and a real desire to make a difference are key attributes for all our staff. Comprehensive training in all our systems, including IGRT, VMAT & Breath-Hold will be provided and we are committed to the continuous professional development of all our staff.
