Profile of Dr Polychronis
Dr Polychronis specialises in the management of upper and lower gastrointestinal and lung cancers, and the management of cancers with an unspecified/unknown primary. He has a clinical interest in chemotherapy and biological agents.
Dr Polychronis trained at Cardiff University with post qualification training at Guy's & St Thomas', St George's, Royal Marsden, Royal Free and Mount Vernon Hospitals. He was a research fellow at the Cancer Cell Biology Laboratories at Imperial College for work leading to a PhD in molecular biology. He is currently a consultant medical oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, also spending time treating patients from the Lister/QE 2 and Barnet Hospitals.
