Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) are used together to deliver the designed dose whilst continuously monitoring the position of the actual cancer within the delivered beams.
All patients with cancer in their left breast are offered spirometry-monitored Deep Inspiration Breath-Hold (DIBH) radiotherapy.
