Kidney (renal), prostate, bladder, and testicular cancers; radiotherapy for urological tumours including IMRT and IGRT; radiotherapy for Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, myeloma, skin tumors; low dose rate and high dose rate prostate brachytherapy.
Hypofractionated radiotherapy, brachytherapy, postoperative radiotherapy for prostate cancer.

Professional profile of Dr Christine Elwell
Dr Christine Elwell graduated from the University of Leeds in 1984 and proceeded to further her education and qualifications at Leeds School of Medicine, the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Radiologists. She trained in Clinical Oncology including brachytherapy at the cancer centre in Leeds, University College Hospitals London and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
Dr Elwell has contributed on a wide scale to oncology at Northampton General Hospital and was the Clinical Director of Oncology and Haematology until 2010. She is now Cancer Lead Clinician and is also the Chair of the Northampton General Hospital End of Life Care Group.
In 2002, Dr Elwell helped to set up the prostate brachytherapy service at Northampton General Hospital; the service has treated over 500 patients and now offers both low and high dose rate brachytherapy.
Since 2003, Dr Elwell has been a Peer Reviewer for Cancer and has contributed to trials in prostate, testis, bladder cancer, and CNS and lung tumours.
