GenesisCare and Windsor Radiology are delighted to announce that a formal partnership has now been secured following many months of working closely together to develop a diagnostic outpatient service.
GenesisCare and Windsor Radiology are collaborating to design and deliver high quality and rapid diagnostic and outpatient services. We share a commitment to focussing on quality and are confident that we will deliver services that ensure patients can access a range of diagnostic imaging and quickly receive their results.
We often hear patients talk of swift access to diagnostic imaging, but then experiencing a wait for the results of the tests/scans and a further wait to understand their treatment plans.
By working with Windsor Radiology we will be able to provide specialist reporting each day of the week and are looking forward to developing genuine one-stop clinics to improve the patient experience and to deliver highly efficient services.
Windsor Radiology is a newly-formed radiologist led company, focussing on high quality and rapid access radiology services. The founding doctors, Dr Seema Agrawalla, Dr Matt Bull, Dr Sri Iyengar and Dr Anil Kumar all practice at Frimley Health NHS Trust. The partnership, which includes a growing number of experienced radiologists, has offered consultants the opportunity for greater influence in the design and delivery of the service.
Dr Sri Iyengar from Windsor Radiology says “Getting to this point in our collaboration has been rewarding and refreshing. It is a genuine partnership and we have had input every step of the way, from deciding on the diagnostic treatment centre design, through to agreeing equipment and the services to be provided. We are looking forward to the diagnostic services opening over the coming months and going forward, as we develop the services together.”
Mark Lomax, CEO for GenesisCare said: “GenesisCare is a result of years’ of developing comprehensive diagnostic and oncology centres throughout the UK. This is our first centre to offer a wide range of diagnostic imaging and tests. PET CT is now available and this will be followed by MRI and in June we will be able to offer patients access to a broad range of outpatient and diagnostic services.
Paul Gearing, Director of Business Development said “We are really excited to have formally entered into this partnership with Windsor Radiology. Our close alignment of vision will ensure that patients will receive excellent access to high-quality diagnostic and outpatient services.”
